Deborah DeBruhl Currie, 66, of Fayetteville, NC, passed away peacefully at home on Friday, July 22, 2022, surrounded by her loving family.

She was born April 18, 1956 in Kinston NC (Lenoir County) to the Late James T. DeBruhl and Joyce Gaskins DeBruhl.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Sunday, July 24, 2022, at Jernigan-Warren Funeral Home.  A funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, July 25, 2022, in the Jernigan-Warren Funeral Home Chapel.  Burial will follow in the Cumberland Memorial Gardens, Fayetteville.

She is survived by her husband of 48 years, Donald P. Currie and two sons, Brian Currie and wife Karen and Joseph Currie and wife Jamie and seven grandchildren, Tyler, Ryan, Nate, Josh, Emma, Kaden and Sadie, and a sister, Jaqueline DeBruhl and a brother James DeBruhl Jr.,  and her furbaby, Abby.
