Mr. Dennis R. Hinson, 60, of Fayetteville, died Thursday, December 29, 2011, in his residence. Mr. Hinson was retired from the Cumberland County Schools where he worked as a supervisor within the school bus garage. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, December 31, 2011, at 11 o'clock am in Jernigan Warren Chapel in Fayetteville with Dr. Joseph Wallis officiating. The burial will follow at LaFayette Memorial Park. He is survived by his wife, Charlene Hinson of the home; sons, Rob Hinson and wife, Tammy, of Fayetteville and Johnny Hinson of Fayetteville; daughter, Denise Hinson and fiancee Mark Ulrich, of Fayetteville; two grandchildren, Crystal Hinson and Casey Hinson; one great-grandchild, Jayden Mitchell; his mother, Nellie Bass Hinson Godwin of Dunn; brothers, J.T. Hinson of Garner and Warren Hinson and wife, Ann, of Godwin; and two sisters, Vickie McPhail of Fayetteville and Bemmis Edge and husband, Jim, of Trinity. He was preceded in death by his father, John Thomas Hinson; sister-in-law, Joanne Hinson; and brother-in-law, Gene McPhail.Funeral services will be held on Saturday, December 31, 2011, at 11 o'clock am in Jernigan Warren Chapel in Fayetteville with Dr. Joseph Wallis officiating. The burial will follow at LaFayette Memorial Park. The family will receive friends Friday evening from 6 to 8 pm at Jernigan Warren in Fayetteville.
