Obituary

Dennis William Ridley "Chuckie", 43 of Fayetteville, passed away Saturday, March 5, 2011 after an extended illness. He served on the Stonewall Volunteer Fire Department since 1992 for a total of 18 years. During his service he held the positions of Fireman, Lieutenant, Captain, Assistant Chief and Chief. He was also a 911 dispatcher for Hoke County and a member of Community Praise Assembly Church. After high school he was a Food Lion Employee, He was preceded in death by Maternal Grandparents, Kathleen & Bill McKee, Paternal Grandparents, Helen & Dennis C. Ridley. The family will receive friends Tuesday March 8, 2011 from 12pm to 2pm in Jernigan-Warren Funeral Home, followed by a funeral service in the funeral home chapel at 2pm with the Rev. Donna Clark officiating, burial will follow in Lafayette Memorial Park West on Raeford Road. He is survived by his parents, Linda McKee Ridley & David Albert Ridley of Fayetteville, his sister Sherry Ridley Koonce & husband Mitchel , a Nieces & Nephews, Danyelle Paige Ridley, Mitchell David Koonce , Tyler Koonce & Jessica Koonce all of Fayetteville, an aunt, Susie DeDie & husband Tim of Raeford, an uncle Ronald Dean Ridley, Sr of California. A daughter, Lacey Renee Ridley of Florida, 2 stepchildren, Christin & Christopher Chapman, And a Great Aunt, Charlotte Banks. Special Thanks to Kenny, Neill, Dr. Gary Garrison, Freddie Johnson & Rev. Donna Clark & Church Family.
