Derrick Miles Anderson, 59, of Fayetteville, NC passed away Sunday March 28, 2021 at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center.

He was born December 20, 1961 in Denver, CO to Shirley Faye Anderson and Warren Miles Anderson. Derrick was preceded in death by his mother and his brother, Michael Stuckey.

Derrick loved to attend Northwood Temple Church with his brother Mark and sister-in-law Sandy. He was a faithful disciple of Christ who loved the Lord and enjoyed reading scripture and praying with his family. Derrick enjoyed watching Star Trek and playing with Hot Wheels cars. His favorite movies were The Wizard of Oz and Hook.

He is survived by his father, Warren Miles Anderson; his brothers, Mark Anderson and wife Sandy, Brian Anderson and wife Dawn, and Jay Jolley; his nieces Olivia, Jessica, Jacquelyn, Emma, and Kaia; and nephew Jonathan.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
