Mr. Dewey Ray McLamb, 68, of Fayetteville died October 7, 2023.

Dewey served in the US Navy for close to 2 years as an Air Traffic Controller. He was awarded the National Defense Service Medal.

After serving in the Navy, he became a master mechanic. He used his skills to help people throughout his community repair their vehicles.

In his free time, Dewey enjoyed playing billiards. He became a billiards Pro and was affectionately known as "Hickory Bob".

His family will host a visitation Saturday, December 9, 2023, from 12 pm to 2 pm at Jernigan-Warren Funeral Home. The Navy will render military honors at 1:30 pm.
