Mrs. Diane Donner, 69, of Fayetteville, died Monday, June 11, 2007, in Cape Fear Valley Medical Center. She was born Donna Diane on April 2, 1938, in Grand Junction, Colo., to Glenn W. and Fern E. Garber. Mrs. Donner moved to Fayetteville in 1987 and became a member of The Church of the Open Door shortly thereafter. She is survived by daughters, Robyn Horne and husband Douglas of Pageland, S.C., and Cheryl Gaskin and husband Joseph of Fayetteville; son, Eric Donner and wife Jennifer of Hudson, Fla.; brother, Duane G. Garber of Kahului, Hawaii; 12 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at The Church of the Open Door at 4 p.m. Saturday, June 16, 2007. Burial will be private.
