Dixie M. Miller FAYETTEVILLE - Mrs. Dixie Jane McNeill Miller died Sunday, April 22, 2012, in the Haymount Rehab and Nursing Center, 2346 Barrington Circle, in Fayetteville. Mrs. Miller was born Jan. 31, 1932, in Lumberton, and was the daughter of the late James D. McNeill and Rosa Smith McNeill Snow. Mrs. Miller was a resident of Savannah, Ga., before moving to Fayetteville. She was employed in the restaurant business and then later as a personal caregiver. She spent the last portion of her life in the Haymount Nursing Center, where she was known for her engaging personality, sense of humor and infectious laugh. Mrs. Miller is survived by a brother, James D. McNeill Jr. of Huntington, W.Va.; sister, Colleen M. Golden of Columbia, S.C.; and many loving nieces and nephews. Funeral services for Dixie Jane McNeill Miller will be held at 3 p.m. on Saturday, May 5, 2012, at Jernigan-Warren Funeral Home, 545 Ramsey St. in Fayetteville. Burial will immediately follow in Lafayette Memorial Park West on Raeford Road. The family will receive friends an hour prior to the service. The family wishes to express their appreciation to the doctors and staff of Cape Fear Valley Medical Center and the staff of Haymount Rehab and Nursing Center for their excellent care of Mrs. Miller during her last years. Service entrusted to Jernigan Warren Funeral Home of Fayetteville.Funeral services for Dixie Jane McNeill Miller will be held at 3 p.m. on Saturday, May 5, 2012, at Jernigan-Warren Funeral Home, 545 Ramsey St. in Fayetteville. Burial will immediately follow in Lafayette Memorial Park West on Raeford Road.
