Fayetteville, N.C. Mr. Donald McDuffie Buie, 86 of Fayetteville passed away on Tuesday, May 22, 2012 in the Carrol S. Roberson Hospice Center. Mr. Buie was a Navy veteran of World War II. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, May 26, 2012 at 11am in Jernigan-Warren Chapel with the Rev. Floyd Benfield, officiating. Burial will follow in the Buie Family Cemetery on the corner of Ramsey St. and Treetop Dr. with military honors. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday, May 26, 2012 from 10:00 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. Mr. Buie is survived by his sisters Gussie Daniel of Edison, Ga., Barbara Anderson and husband Daniel of Fayetteville and Peggy Collier and husband Sherrill of Fayetteville. nieces Lucille Cook of Fayetteville and Ellen Sizemore of Tampa, Florida, multiple nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the American Lung Association.
