Donald Fairley Geddie, 81, of Eastover died peacefully in Cape Fear Valley Hospital on Saturday, July 14, 2007. Youngest of four sons, he was born on April 14, 1926. He had lived for the past 24 years on Middle Road, two doors down from the farm house where he was born. He had a great love for Fayetteville, his hometown. Known to some as Don and others as Fairley, he had retired from the Air Force as a senior master sergeant and later from the United States Post Office. As long as his health allowed, he met regularly to shoot the breeze with Fayetteville
