Fayetteville, N.C. Donald C. Moore, 85 of Fayetteville passed away on Friday, March 28, 2014 in Carillon Assisted Living in Fayetteville. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, April 2, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. in Haymount United Methodist Church with the Rev. Dennis Goodwin presiding. The burial will follow in Lafayette Memorial Park on Ramsey St. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, April 1, 2014 at Jernigan-Warren Funeral Home in Fayetteville. Donald was born June 17, 1928 in Frostburg, Maryland to the late Clyde and Marjorie Chives Moore. He was a retired area manager with Kelly-Springfield Goodyear after 45 years. Donald was a member of Haymount United Methodist Church and a member of the Barrington Sunday school class. He was preceded in death by his wife of 59 years Alma B. Moore. He is survived by his son Gary D. Moore of Fayetteville; daughters Nancy Lea Kramer and husband Robert of Germany and Linda J. Morris and husband Stacy of Fayetteville; five grandchildren, Kelly L. Slizewski, Lauren L. Pow yszynski, Kimberly D. Brantley, Jeremy N. Morris and Kelsey D. Morris; 4 great-grandchildren; cousin Angela McKenzie of Maryland. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Haymount United Methodist Church , 1700 Fort Bragg Road, Fayetteville, N.C. 28303, or to a charity of one's choice. The family will receive friends from 6pm to 8pm on Tuesday, April 1, 2014 at Jernigan-Warren Funeral Home. The funeral will be held on Wednesday, April 2, 2014 at 11am in Haymount United Methodist Church Burial will follow in Lafayette Memorial Park on Ramsey Street.
