Mrs. Donna Lou Bagley Wheeler, 73, of Fayetteville, NC, died Sunday, October 15, 2023, at her home surrounded by her family.

Donna was born October 13, 1950, in Fayetteville, NC, to Walter Reese Bagley and Vara Beatrice Beard Bagley.  She enjoyed volunteering at Martha's table through Person Street United Methodist Church, where she was a lifelong member.  Donna also enjoyed traveling.

Donna is survived by her husband, Francis Leroy Wheeler; daughters, Tammy Wheeler (and wife Pamela Williams), Frances Wheeler Johnson (and husband Jonathan); brothers, Gregory Bagley and Mark Bagley; three grandchildren, Amanda, David, and Caroline; and two great-grandchildren, Jaxon and Allie.

The family will receive friends on Friday, November 3, 2023, from 1:00 p.m. until 1:50 p.m. at Jernigan-Warren Funeral Home, with a memorial service beginning at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel.  Burial will follow at Lafayette Memorial Park, 2301 Ramsey St., Fayetteville, NC 28301.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to the Cape Fear Valley Cancer Center, 1638 Owen Drive, Fayetteville, NC 28304 or to Person Street United Methodist Church, 509 Person Street, Fayetteville, NC 28301.
