FAYETTEVILLE - Doris Huggins Jones, 90 of Fayetteville passed away on Friday, February 12, 2016 in Cape Fear Valley Medical Center.Doris was born November 22, 1925 in Fairmont, N.C. to the late Oma Goins and Fred William Huggins.

Funeral services will be Monday, February 15, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. in Culbreth United Methodist Church with Rev. Heather Locklear, officiating. Burial will follow in Lafayette Memorial Park on Ramsey St. The family will receive friends at the church one hour prior to the service on Monday.

Doris was a lifetime member of Culbreth United Methodist Church and a retired librarian at Sunnyside Elementary School. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles E. Jones, Jr and son-in-law, Howard Hughes.

Mrs. Jones is survived by her daughters, Tamera J. Hughes of Fayetteville and Debra J. Grimsley and husband R.J., Jr. of Fayetteville; grandchildren, April Clark, Dewey Nunnery, Sr., Katye Nunnery and Reuben Grimsley, III, and great-grandchildren, Jennifer Gray, Isaac Clark, Aidan Nunnery, Jeneeta Laureano, Emaleigh Nunnery, Savannah Nunnery, and Dewey Nunnery, Jr.
