FAYETTEVILLE - Mrs. Doris Sue Alley Nelson, 78, of Fayetteville, passed away Sunday, June 7, 2009, in her home. She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother, one sister and her husband, Gale. She is survived by a daughter, Sharon Lynn Schlesiger of Enola, Pa. Doris worked as a warranty administrator for Stewart Nissan from 1970 until her death. The family will receive friends from 10 to 11 a.m. Wednesday, June 10, 2009, at Jernigan-Warren Funeral Home in Fayetteville. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday in the funeral home chapel. Burial will be at noon Wednesday in Sandhills State Veterans Cemetery in Spring Lake.
