Dorothy Todd Atchley, 87 of Fayetteville passed away Friday, June 30, 2017 in Hope Mills Retirement Center.

Dorothy was born August 12, 1929 in Carter, Oklahoma to the late Fannie and Elmer Todd. She was preceded in death by her husband, Rex William Atchley and son, Kenneth J. Atchley.

Funeral services will be Monday, July 3, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. in Lafayette Baptist Church with Rev. Steve Branch, officiating. The family will receive friends at the church following the service. Burial in Cumberland Memorial Gardens on Friday, July 7, 2017 at 2:00 p.m.

She is survived by a son, Samuel Atchley and wife Lynn; granddaughters, Kathryn Barkman and husband Japheth and Sarah Persaud and husband Bobby; great-grandchildren, David, Joshua, and Daniel Barkman; sisters, Faye Todd Caldwell of Clovis, California and Opal Todd Meireis of Columbia, Missouri.
