Dorothy Mae Cecilia Boudreaux Parker
Fayetteville, NC- Mrs. Dorothy Parker, 88, of Fayetteville, NC and formerly of Biloxi, MS passed away peacefully on February 1st at home in Fayetteville NC. She was born on February 18, 1928 in Biloxi Mississippi to the late Albert J and Rosetta Waldrop Boudreaux.
She was preceded in death by his longtime husband of 67 years, Earl William Parker of Fayetteville, NC; She is survived by a daughter Barbara Parker Thomson and Husband, Robert of Fayetteville; a son, Earl Joseph Parker of Natchitoches, LA; and a daughter, Ava Joy Smith of Natchitoches, LA; a brother, William Albert Boudreaux all of Biloxi, MS and a sister, Della Mae Slagle or Marysville, TN. 8 grandchildren; Will and wife Kat, Matt and wife Val, Susan and husband Danny, Ian, Heather and husband Chris, Caleb, Esau and wife Maggie, and Ethan; 19 great grandchildren Dylan, Danielle, Elizabeth, Kassy, Ginny, Amy, Becky, Bobby Dale, Andrew, Tyler, Mary Jane, Conner, Cloie, Tucker, Gage, Jayden, Tatum, Teagan, and Spencer.
A memorial service will be held Sunday, February 5th at 3pm at St. James Lutheran Church located at 1424 Morganton Road with Pastor John Locke officiating. The family will receive friends in the fellowship hall after the conclusion of the service.
In Lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the St. James Lutheran Church in memory of Dorothy Parker to be given to Operation Inasmuch, 1424 Morganton Road, Fayetteville, NC 28305.
