FAYETTEVILLE - Mrs. Dorothy C. Sigman, 98, of Fayetteville, died Wednesday, May 20, 2009, in Southeastern Hospice House in Lumberton.
Mrs. Sigman was a member of Camp Ground United Methodist Church and a retired employee of Cumberland County Schools.
She was preceded in death by her husbands, William Wayne Bryant and Marcus Sigman; great-grandson, Marshall Turnley; and son-in-law, Marion Taylor.
She is survived by daughters, Aileen Rhew Reese and husband Cle of Fayetteville, and Sybil B. Taylor of Fayetteville, six grandchildren, Pamela Bigham, Stephen Rhew, Jamie Rhew, Diane Turnley, Darryl Taylor and Gregory Taylor; eight great-grandchilden; and two great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted at 3 p.m. Sunday, May 24, 2009, in Camp Ground United Methodist Church with the Revs. David C. Wade and Dennis Lamm officiating. Burial in church cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 2 to 3 p.m. Sunday, May 24, 2009, at the church.
