Dorothy Caleen Phillips Stephens, 90, passed away Tuesday, March 16, 2010 at The Vintage in Denton, Texas. She was born July 10, 1919 in Fayetteville, North Carolina, to Maude Blanch Phillips and Jasper Phillips. She married George Woodrow Stephens (deceased) of Dillon, South Carolina in 1937. She worked for Vander in Stedman, NC, until she retired with her husband in 1974 and moved to Terra Ceia Island, Florida. She is survived by her son, Ronald Stephens and wife Gay of Prattville, Alabama, a daughter, Lynn Mayfield and husband James Mayfield of Corinth, Texas, five grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held on Saturday March 20 at 2:00 PM with a viewing at 1:00-2:00 PM before the services. She will be buried at Camp Ground United Methodist Church in Fayetteville, NC, immediately after the service.
