Dorothy McDougald Williamson, 81, of Fayetteville, died Thursday, January 25, 2007, in Cape Fear Valley Medical Center. Mrs. Williamson was a member of Highland Presbyterian Church. Funeral services will be held Monday, January 29, 2007, at 11 am in Highland Presbyterian Church with Drs. Ernest Johnson and Leighton McKeithen officiating. The burial will follow at LaFayette Memorial Park. She was preceded in death by her husband, Romie F. Williamson, and her parents, Daniel Alexander and Mary Virginia McDougald. Mrs. Williamson is survived by her daughter, Mary Mac Johnson and her husband, Timothy L. Johnson, of Wilmington; two grandsons, Daniel Colin Johnson and Cameron Alexander Johnson, both of Wilmington; a brother, Howard A. McDougald of Raeford; sisters, Laura L. Sutton, of Arlington, Texas, Marjorie F. Carpenter of Fayetteville, Helen I. Craver of Bonita Springs, Florida, and Frankie D. Stillson of Weston, Florida; and several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 pm Sunday evening, January 28, 2007, at the funeral home.
