Mrs. Dorothy Frances "Dot" Sewell Williford, 82, of Fayetteville went to be with the Lord on Sunday, Oct. 12, 2008. Dot was born in Kenly, N.C., on Dec. 10, 1925, to the late Rev. John and Sula Sewell. She was also preceded in death by her sisters, Gladys Cain, Bonnie Fann, and Vera Swilling. She was a devoted wife to John H. Williford for 68 years. Out of that union, five daughters were born. They felt privileged to call her Mom. She always provided for them a listening ear, strong wise advice, a loving heart and true friendship. When someone would ask her about her children, she would respond, "I have five good girls
