Tech Sgt. Douglas A. Threatt, Retired U.S. Air Force, 78, of Fayetteville, died Thursday, October 6, 2016 at his residence.

Funeral services with military honors will be held on Friday, October 14, 2106, at 12 noon at Sandhills State Veterans Cemetery Chapel, with the Rev. John Blackman officiating. Surviving are his wife, Son Chu Threatt of the home; sons, Douglas A. Threatt, Jr. (aka) Billy Ray Clark, Jr. and wife, Fawn of Winter Garden, Florida, Tony B. Threatt and wife, Joy of Mililani, Hawaii; daughters, Marlene Benner and husband, Randy of Winter Garden, Florida, Michelle A. Clayborn and husband, Rob of Fayetteville, Carol Nehl and husband, Joe of Kapolei, Hawaii; 9 grandchildren and 8 Great Grandchildren; brother, Ted Threatt and wife, Sandra of Lexington, S.C., sister, Catherine Bollenbach and husband, Fred of Columbia, S.C.; sister-in-law, Gloria Threatt of Swansea, S.C. and several nieces and nephews
