Fayetteville, N.C. Master Sergeant Retired U.S. Army Douglas Edward White, 81 of Fayetteville passed away on Saturday, June 7, 2014 in Highsmith-Rainey Memorial Hospital. He was an Army veteran . Funeral services will be held on Monday, June 9, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at Fayetteville Community Church. Burial will follow in Lafayette Memorial Park on Ramsey Street with military honors. The family will receive friends at Jernigan-Warren Funeral Home on Sunday, June 8, 2014 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. He is survived by his wife Margie White; sons Derek White, Bradley White, and Stephen White and 9 grandchildren.
