FAYETTEVILLE - Retired Coast Guard Lt. Drew R. Wojtanik, 59, of 6852 Thames Drive, died Sunday, Nov. 15, 2009, in Cape Fear Valley Medical Center. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 19, 2009, at Main Post Chapel, Fort Bragg, with Chaplain Lt. Col. Howard Lucas and the Rev. Elton Bryan officiating. Burial will follow in Arlington National Cemetery, Arlington, Va., at 11 a.m., Thursday, Jan., 21, 2010. The family will receive friends today, Nov. 18, 2009, at Jernigan-Warren Funeral Home in Fayetteville, from 6 to 8 p.m. Mr. Wojtanik was preceded in death by his first wife, Linda. He is survived by his wife, Annette Smith-Wojtanik of the home; daughter, Jacquelyn and husband Richard Parrish; grandchildren, Emma, Reece and Adeline; daughter, Robin Wojtanik and husband Mark Bunch; grandchildren, Marjorie and Vivian; mother, Juanita Wojtanik; brother, John and wife Cherry Wojtanik; sister, Darla and husband J.R. DeLong; nephew, Rodney and wife Brenda Wojtanik, and their son, Quinn; nephew, Randy and Kim Wojtanik, and their sons, Chase and Darren; and nephew, Scott Beebe.
