Miss Dy Anne \\"Squeaks\\" Massey, 47, of Fayetteville, died Saturday, Jan. 15, 2011, in Cape Fear Valley Medical Center. Miss Massey was an avid churchgoer. As a lifetime member of Haymount Free Will Baptist Church, she participated in almost all of the church's activities. She loved everyone, young and old alike; and she especially loved to laugh. She was the godmother of her nephew, William, and her niece, Heather. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 18, 2011, in Jernigan-Warren Funeral Home chapel in Fayetteville, with the Rev. Clarence Privette officiating. Burial will be in Lafayette Memorial Park on Ramsey Street. The family will receive friends from 1 to 2 p.m. Tuesday at Jernigan-Warren Funeral Home. Miss Massey was preceded in death by her father, Charles Massey; and brothers, Mark and Mike Massey. She is survived by her mother, Martha Massey of the home; brothers, Curtis R. Massey and wife Theresa of Harnett County, and Eric C. Massey and wife Dee of Cumberland County; nephews, Caleb, Mark, Joshua and William; and nieces, Heather, Lindsay and Melody.
