FAYETTEVILLE- Mrs. Edith M. Harris passed away Wednesday, February 29, 2012 at the Carrol S. Roberson Hospice Center. Mrs. Edith Harris is survived by her husband, John C. "Ted" Harris of the home; daughter, Debbie Jones and husband, Terry of Oklahoma; sons, Charles Raynor and wife, Marie of Fayetteville, Charland Raynor and wife, Susan of Raeford, Teddy Harris and wife, Sandy of Fayetteville, Tim Harris and wife, Cheryl of Fayetteville; brothers, Graham McDonald of Fayetteville, Craven McDonald of Fayetteville, Gary McDonald of Greenville; sisters, Iris Raynor of Harrisburg, N.C., Brenda Holt of Fayetteville, Linda Brown of Tennessee; nine grandchildren, and fourteen great-grandchildren. A funeral service will be held for Mrs. Edith M. Harris on Sunday, March 4, 2012 at 2pm in the Jernigan Warren funeral home chapel, officiated by Dr. Brian Kinlaw. The visitation will be held one hour before the service from 1pm to 2pm on Sunday. The burial will be held at Cumberland Memorial Gardens following the service. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Foundation of America, 322 Eighth Ave., 7th fl., New York, NY 10001.
