Fayetteville, NC—Mrs. Edith Murphy Herndon Hill, 95, died Monday July 30, 2012.visitation will be held Friday August 3, 2012 from 10am to 11am at Jernigan-Warren Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held at 11am at Lafayette Memorial Park on Ramsey Street by her Pastor Dr. Tryon Lancaster. Mrs Hill is survived by her daughter, Gloria Gaye Rose, husband Jim and a sister Louise Peterson. Several Grandchildren & Great-Grandchildren, Nieces & Nephews. She was preceded in death by her Husband, Charlie W. Hill, son Bobby Herndon, Brother, Morris Murphy, Sister, Alice Overman & Parents Rev. Henry Murphy & Minnie Murphy.
