Edith Mae Jones, 88, of Fayetteville, passed away Tuesday, July 18, 2017 at her home with family by her side.

Graveside services will be conducted at 10 am Friday, July 21, 2017, in Lafayette Memorial Park, with the Chaplain Gary Lucas officiating.

The family will receive friends Friday, following the graveside service.

Born October 10, 1928, she was the daughter of the late Weldon F Frazier and the late Willie Mae Fur Frazier Brown. Edith grew up in St. Paul's, NC.

She is preceded in death by her husband of 66 years, P. D. Jones; a granddaughter Tara Land; and brother, Cecil Smith.

Edith is survived by her brother Weldon E. Frazier and wife Sandy; daughter, Joyce A. Porter and late husband Terry of Fayetteville; sons, Randy Jones and late wife Rita of White Oak, and Kenneth Jones Sr and wife Linda of Eastover; seven grandchildren, Terry Porter Jr and wife Shelia, Michael Porter and wife Anna, Robert Porter and wife Amy, Randolph Jones and wife Pam, Kenny Jones, Jr and wife Rebecca, and Amy Jones; and eleven great-grandchildren, Ashley, Melanie, Sharon, and Jackson Porter, Miranda Jones, Tess Land, Garrett Land, LaTron Jones, Emma Jones, Olivia Jones and Kinsley Jones.
