Ray Moore (Edward Ray), 93, loving husband of the late Faye McLean Moore died Dec 4, 2022 at his home in Douglasville, GA They were married 64 years when Faye passed away in March of 2017.

Ray and Faye are survived by their son, Ed Moore and wife, Gail. Also survived by numerous cousins, in-laws, nieces and nephews. He was the only son of the late Edward Colquitt Moore and Lois Isabell Ray of Fayetteville,NC.

Ray and Faye worked for Metropolitan Life Insurance for decades before retiring in Fayetteville and then moving to GA in 2012. Ray was a wonderful son, husband, father, and friend. He enjoyed tennis, reading and spending time with family and in his yard and home with Faye.

The family will hold a memorial service for both Faye and Ray on Sat, Jul 1st ; 11:30am at Mt Pisgah Baptist Church, 3350 Butler Nursery Rd Fayetteville 28306.
