Retired Command Sgt. Maj. Edward Mack Reeder Sr., of Fayetteville, died Thursday, June 7, 2007.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, June 13, 2007, at 12:30 p.m. at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church by the Rev. John Kelly. Burial will follow in Sandhills State Veterans Cemetery in Spring Lake with full military honors.
He proudly served in the United States Army for 28 years and was a veteran of the Korean and Vietnam wars.
He is survived by his wife, Ginko Reeder of the home; a son, Col. Edward M. Reeder Jr. and daughter-in-law, Adrian, and their children, Edward III, Jennifer and Morgan; and a daughter, Pamela Harsant and son-in-law, Dr. David Harsant, and their children, Laura, Caroline and Stewart, all of Fayetteville. He is also survived by a sister, Doris Rupanovic of Mansfield, Ohio.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday, June 12, 2007, at Jernigan-Warren Funeral Home.
