FAYETTEVILLE - Edward John Stackley, 70, of 1751 Wayne Lane, died Monday, Feb. 23, 2009, in N.C. State Veterans Nursing Home. The funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. today in Salem United Methodist Church. Dr. Bill Snotherly will officiate. Burial will be in Lafayette Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 1 to 2 p.m. today at the church parlor and at other times at the home. Mr. Stackley is survived by his wife, Norma A. Stackley of the home; a daughter, Evelyn Leneise Stackley Corey of Fayetteville; and a grandson, Aaron Edward Corey of Fayetteville. Services entrusted to Jernigan-Warren Funeral Home of Fayetteville.
