Edwin Alton McKenzie, 68 of Stedman, passed away Thursday October 15, 2009 in Carrol S. Roberson Hospice Center. He was the owner/operator of McKenzie Construction for over 40 Years. He was preceded in death by his Wife Diane Hall McKenzie, his father, John Alton McKenzie, his mother Marcie Tyndall McKenzie Spell, and his step-father Libbie Spell. The family will receive friends from 6:00pm to 8:00pm tonight Friday, October 16, 2009 at Jernigan-Warren Funeral Home, The funeral will be held Saturday, October 17, 2009 at 11:00am in Jernigan Warren Funeral Home Chapel by the Rev. Lutrell Spell, Burial will follow in Macedonia Baptist Church Cemetery. He is survived by a son Edwin �Bryan� McKenzie and wife Julia, a daughter Deborah M. Mitchell and her husband Terry, 7 Grandchildren, Juliana, Curtis, Edwin, Mac, Erin, John-Bryan & Abby Grace and 7 Brothers & Sisters, Festus Spell of Autryville, Ora �Sis� Roegiers of Dunn, Francis Hall of Fayetteville, Earl Spell of Beulaville, Mabel Parker of Stedman, Patricia Hall of Autryville, and Lutrell Spell of Fremont.
