Mr. Edwin G. Ostendorf, 84, of Fayetteville, passed away Monday, October 9, 2017.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 14, 2017, at 11 am in Jernigan Warren Chapel with Rev. Joe Casteel presiding. Entombment will follow at LaFayette Memorial Park Mausoleum. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 9:30 to 11 am at the funeral home.

He is survived by his wife, Gladys Ostendorf; his sons, Gary Ostendorf, James Ostendorf and wife Isabella, and Robert Ostendorf and wife Ronda, all of Fayetteville; his grandchildren, Jaime Masotti and husband Eric, Jared Ostendorf and wife Gabriela, Ashlee Ostendorf and Kyle Ostendorf; 4 great-grandchildren, Ellis and Emery Masotti and Mia and Willow Ostendorf; 3 sisters, Lorraine Folta and Joanne Heffron both of Grey Eagle, MN and Viola Berschied of Melrose, MN; and 2 brothers, Leander Ostendorf of Tempe, AZ and Billy Ostendorf of Citrus Heights, CA.
