Eleanor Collier Woodard, 85 of Fayetteville, Passed away Wednesday March 3, 2010 in Highland House Nursing Home. She was a faithful member of the First Baptist Church and the Fedelis Sunday School Class. She was a retired employee from the VA Medical Center in Fayetteville. She was preceded in death by her husband Alex Benjamine Woodard and her parents Martha Wade and William Thomas Collier. The funeral will be held Saturday March 6, 2010 at 2:00pm in First Baptist Church by the Rev. A. Edward Beddingfield, Jr, The family will receive friends from 1:00pm to 2:00pm in Memorial Lounge at First Baptist Church. Burial will be in Lafayette Memorial Park on Ramsey Street. She is survived by a daughter Carol Woodard Barker of Fayetteville and a brother Robert Wade Collier of Sarasota, Florida.
