EASTOVER - Mrs. Elgie Beasley Cain Herndon, 80, of Eastover, died Wednesday, July 6, 2016 at Bethesda Health Care.

A Graveside Service will be held on Sunday, at 2 p.m. at Salem United Methodist Church Cemetery.

Mrs. Herndon was preceded in death by her parents, RoTalton Beasley, Sr. and Lessie Johnson Beasley; her first husband, Seavy Cain; second husband, Marvin N. Herndon; daughters, Sue Dorman, Nellie Norris; son, Luke Cain; sisters, Allie Beasley West, Rachel Beasley Jones and a brother, RoTalton Beasley, Jr.

She is survived by her daughter, Sheila Cain , son in law, Tommy Dorman; grandchildren, Billie Paul and husband Jeff and Michael Norris and wife Cheryl; great grandchildren, Jeffrey, Brianne, and Brandon Paul, Luke and Mikayla, and Hailey Norris; sisters, Nora Cain and husband Bill, Alice Matthews and husband Ricky, Linda Lee and husband Jackie; several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Saturday at Jernigan-Warren Funeral Home.
