Elizabeth A. "Betty" McMillan, 96, of Hamilton, Ohio, passed away on Tuesday, January 30, 2024, at Berkeley Square Retirement Community.

Betty was born in Fayetteville, NC on October 1, 1927, the daughter of Alvin and Mamie (Bennett) McMillan. She attended college and worked as a teacher's aide for Cumberland County Schools. Betty was a life-long member of the Highland Presbyterian Church in Fayetteville, NC, until moving to Ohio where she attended The Presbyterian Church of Hamilton. She was a member of the Daughters of American Revolution.

Betty is survived by her daughter, Elizabeth Lyons and son, James (Bairn) Kroeger; granddaughter, Shauna (Tim Gihring) Kroeger; grandson, James (Megan) Kroeger; great grandchildren, Leo, Emma, James and Kendall; and niece, Lucy Chambers.

A funeral service will be held at Weigel Funeral Home, 980 N. W. Washington Blvd., Hamilton, Ohio 45013 at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, February 3, 2024, with Dr. John Lewis officiating. Burial will take place at Lafayette Memorial Park in Fayetteville, NC at a later date.
