Mrs. Elizabeth Van Hook Bezonia, 66, of Fayetteville, died Thursday, August 17, 2006, in Cape Fear Valley Medical Center. Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 19, 2006, from 10 to 11 am with the funeral service immediately following in the Jernigan Warren Funeral Home Chapel. The burial will be in LaFayette Memorial Park. She was preceded in death by her husband, Fred Bezonia, her father, William Y. Van Hook, and a sister, Judy Van Hook Bloom. She is survived by her mother, martha Van Hook, of the home; a brother, William D. Van Hook, and his wife, Mary Van Hook, of Mount Pleasant, SC; a sister, Nancy Van Hook, and her husband, Thomas Beckwith, of Fayetteville; a niece, Allyson Conklin, of Mount Pleasant; three nephews, William J. Van Hook of Charleston, SC, Alyx Beckwith of New York and Zane Beckwith of Chapel Hill; three great-nieces, Clarie Van Hook and Samantha Van Hook of Charleston and Abigail Conklin of Mount Pleasant; and two grandchildren.
