Mrs. Elizabeth Davis, 89 of Fayetteville, NC, went to be with her Lord, Wednesday, November 23, 2022, at Carolina Inn Assisted Living, Fayetteville NC. She was born on April 17, 1933, in Cumberland County, NC to the late Joseph O. Davis and Wife Elma Davis.  Preceding her in death was her loving husband of 60 years, Harvie Davis and also a sister, Evelyn Davis and a brother, J.B Davis.

Mrs. Davis retired from American Tobacco Company in Durham, NC with 38 years of excellent service. While in Durham, she attended Faith Baptist Church where she taught Sunday School for several years and loved singing in the choir.  She was devoted to her husband for 60 years, her family and her friends and her church family.

She is survived by two sisters, Helen McDonald of Fayetteville, NC and Della Grace Kirk of Hillview, Kentucky; three brothers, Percy Davis and wife Ann of Smithfield, NC, Donald Davis and wife Kathleen Davis of Dunn, NC, and Oscar Davis and wife Pat of Autryville, NC; and a host of nieces and nephews,

The family will receive friends on Wednesday November 30, 2022, from 11am to 12noon at Jernigan-Warren Funeral Home, Fayetteville, NC with funeral service to follow at 12noon in the Jernigan-Warren Chapel with Pastor Nick Smith and Rev. Don Davis officiating. Burial will follow at Lafayette Memorial Park on Ramsey Street.  Special thanks to Mrs. Gail Daniel, Elizabeth's beloved niece, the staff of Carolina Inn Assisted Living, and Elizabeth's long-time friend for 73 years, Mrs. Mildred Murphy.
