Mrs. Elizabeth Shaw McDonald, 72, of Fayetteville, passed away Thursday August 27, 2015 in UNC Hospitals in Chapel Hill.

A funeral service will be held Tuesday, September 1, 2015 at 1 pm at Jernigan-Warren Funeral Home. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 11:30 am to 1 pm. Burial will follow at Lafayette Memorial Park on Ramsey St.

She is predeceased by her husband William Kelly McDonald.

She is survived by her daughter Michele Holden, husband Danny; sister Martha Brantley; brother Robert Shaw; and 2 grandchildren.
