Elizabeth Hicks Nalley passed away Wednesday, March 4, 2015 at Village Green Nursing Home.

She was born June 19, 1923 in Lake City, SC to the late William E. and Alma Kennedy Hicks.

Elizabeth was a homemaker and devoted wife, mother and grandmother.

A private graveside service will be held Saturday, March 7, 2015 at Lafayette Memorial Park presided by David J. Blackman, pastor of Hay Street United Methodist Church.

Her husband, Frank E. Nalley and four sisters predeceased her. A brother, Jay Hicks of Irmo, SC survives her.

Left to cherish her loving memories are her daughter, Christie Nalley Sanders and husband Joey of Fayetteville; granddaughter Laura Sanders Dozier and husband Tom of Charleston, SC; grandson Bradley O'Neal Sanders of Raleigh; and two great grandchildren Sanders Elizabeth Dozier and Thomas Slade Dozier, Jr.

The family will be forever indebted to the Village Green family where mother resided for almost 20 years. A special thank you to each and every one of you for your care and compassion. Also to the circle members of Hay Street United Methodist Church for flowers, prayers, visitations and homemade items for mother over the years.
