Mrs. Elizabeth (Lib) Campbell Owen died Sunday April 24 at First Health Moore Regional Memorial Hospital, Pinehurst. She was born July 22 1927 in Pinehurst to Roy Thomas Campbell and Louise Cole Campbell. Mrs. Owen became a Fayetteville resident in 1941, where she lived until moving to Elmcroft Assisted Living, Pinehurst, December 2009. She was preceded in death by her husband Daniel Frederick Owen. She is survived by her children, Mrs. Vicki Butler and husband Ben of Myrtle Beach, Mrs. Mary Fowler and husband John of Pinehurst, and Daniel F. Owen Jr. of Hope Mills. For many years Mrs. Owen was an active member of Haymount United Methodist Church and served as a dedicated board member for the Three Colonies Homeowners Association.
