Elizabeth "Betty" Rosentritt Owen, 78, of Fayetteville Passed away Saturday December 1, 2007. She and her husband Clyde were owners of the Dairy Queen on Bragg Blvd from 1964 to 1977. She was a loving Wife, Mother and Grandmother, And enjoyed taking care of her Grandchildren. She was a caring and attentive friend who always put the needs of others above her own. She was an active participant at Main Post Chapel on Fort Bragg. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, December 5, 2007 at 12:30pm at Main Post Chapel on Fort Bragg. She was preceded in death by two of her brothers in Germany. She is survived by her Husband of 52 years , Clyde Leroy Owen , A Son, John Leroy Owen and wife Beverly, A son Tommy Edward Owen and Wife Suzanne all of Fayetteville, 4 Brothers, and 2 Sisters in Germany, and 6 grandchildren, Jonathan, Thomas, Jamie, Sara, Ashley and Austin Owen. The family will receive friends tonight, Tuesday December 4, 2007 from 6pm to 8pm at Jernigan-Warren Funeral Home.
