Ellen Inez Hobgood Reams, 92, of Fayetteville passed away Saturday July 13 at the Crossings at Wayside in Raeford.

She was born October 4, 1926 in Henderson, NC to the late Willie and William Hobgood. Ellen was preceded in death by her husband, Russell Thomas Reams.

Ellen was a faithful member of Haymount United Methodist Church for over 50 years. She served on several church committees, sang with the choir, lead the intercessory prayer group, and was elected layperson of the year.

Ellen is survived by her daughter Rhonda Jordan and husband A. J.; her son Russell Stephen Reams Sr. and wife Donna; a brother Alford Hobgood; four grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

The family will hold a private service at a later date.
