ElmerMarchant, 85 of Eastover, died Wednesday, October 15, 2014 at Cape Fear ValleyMedical Center.

Mr. Marchantwas a veteran of the U.S. Marines.

A funeralservice will be held Friday, October 17, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at Jernigan-WarrenFuneral Home with burial following in Cumberland Memorial Gardens with militaryhonors.

Survivingare his daughters, Linda Edwards, Kathy Showalter, Peggy Marchant, Rhonda Leeand Lisa Spell; sons, Michael and James Marchant; sister, Rveda Faulkner;brother, William Marchant; 9 grandchildren; and 12 great grandchildren;

The familywill receive friends Friday, October 17, 2014 from 10-11 a.m. one hour prior tothe service at Jernigan-Warren Funeral Home.
