FAYETTEVILLE - Mrs. Erna Beldon, 70, passed away suddenly Monday, April 27, 2009. Born in Bayreuth, Germany, she was a loving wife, mother and oma. She is survived by her husband of 50 years, George Beldon; children, Frank Hirschmann, John Beldon, Diana Cavano and son-in-law, Jeffrey Cavano; grandchildren, Carolina, Andrew and Jeffrey Paul Cavano; and great-grandchildren, Isabel Cavano and Bram McGartland. She is also survived by her sister, Martha Knoth, and brother, Werner Hirschmann. She was an awesome lady who loved her garden, her family, her many friends and especially her dogs. She was an accomplished artist and a nurturer of all things great and small. She will be greatly missed. The family will receive friends at Jernigan-Warren Funeral Home in Fayetteville from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday, May 3, 2009. The funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, May 4, 2009, in Sandhills State Veterans Cemetery in Spring Lake. Services entrusted to Jernigan-Warren Funeral Home of Fayetteville.
