Obituary

Ernie Mae Bullard Lee, 78, of 413 Raynor Drive died Saturday, February 4, 2012 at Hope Mills Retirement Center. She is one of six children born to Owen and Altie Bullard, of the Beaverdam community. She graduated from Stedman High in 1951 and worked at Cash Way Market on Person Street from 1952 To 1975, at which time she retired. She was a longtime member of College Lakes Baptist Church. She is preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Frederick C. Lee, and sisters Esther Bass of Hope Mills and Louise Livingston of Fayetteville. She is survived by two daughters, Debra Lee Lucas and husband, Michael, and Cyndi Lee McKinney and husband, John, two grandsons, Chris Lucas and wife Amanda of Raeford, and Owen McKinney of Fayetteville, two granddaughter Whitney Nielsen and husband Shawn, and Morgan McKinney of Fayetteville and two great grandchildren, Talan and Kamryn Lucas of Raeford. Also survived by a brother, Charles "Cicero" Bullard and wife Reba, two sisters, Ruth Bugbee and Mickie Daniels, all of Fayetteville. Visitation will be at 1 pm, Tuesday at College Lakes Baptist Church prior to a memorial and celebration of her life at 2pm, by Pastor Tim Medlin and Pastor Bobby Smith. Burial will be at LaFayette Memorial Park on Ramsey Street.
