Mrs. Esther Mae Hall Greenwell, 66, of 3422 Rogers Drive, Fayetteville, died Thursday, May 1, 2008, at her residence. She was a retired English teacher and attended the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She is survived by her mother, Elsie Jane Naylor Hall of Autryville; son, Tifton Faircloth and wife Karese of Autryville; daughters, Charylene Honeycutt and husband Joe of Autryville, Julia McPhail and husband Layton of Autryville, and Valerie Fann and husband Bennett of Salemburg; stepson, Arnold Greenwell of Hurdle Mills; stepdaughter, Charlotte Miller and husband Mark of Gracey, Ky.; five grandchildren; and 10 stepgrandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Warren Greenwell; father, Lewis Allen Hall; and a granddaughter, Amanda Honeycutt. Funeral services will be held today, May 4, 2008, at 3:30 p.m. at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints on Scotty Hill Road. Burial will follow in the T.J. Hall family cemetery.
