Mrs. Ethel Arnette Jones, 91, of 1601 Purdue Drive, Fayetteville, died Saturday, April 21, 2007, in Village Green Care Center. Mrs. Jones was a longtime and faithful member of First Baptist Church, having served as a Sunday school teacher and choir member. She was a lifetime member of the Order of the Eastern Star and served as worthy matron. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 58 years, Johnnie Bryant Jones. The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at First Baptist Church with Dr. Mike Arnette officiating. Burial will be in Cross Creek Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1 to 2 p.m. Tuesday in the church
