Mrs. Ethel P. McLaurin, 97, of Fayetteville, died Thursday, September 21, 2006, in Cape Fear Valley Medical Center. Mrs. McLaurin was a member of Lebanon Baptist Church. Funeral Services took place at 3 pm, September 23, 2006, at Lebanon Baptist Church with the Revs. Wray Wheeless and Tim Smithheart officiating. Burial followed in the church cemetery. Mrs. McLaurin is survived by her daughter, Norma Gray of Fayetteville; sisters, Joyce Averitte of Fayetteville, Hellon Beard of Fayetteville and Lavenia Morefield of Phoenix City, Ala; and grandson, David Gray of Fayetteville.
