Mrs. Ethelene Smith Lacy, 91 of Fayetteville, died Tuesday, August 7, 2012 at UNC Hospital. Funeral service will be held Saturday, August 11, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at Walstone Baptist Church burial will follow in Lafayette Memorial Park on Ramsey Street. Mrs. Lacy loved the Lord, she was a loving mother and grandmother, she will be missed deeply, but we know she is rejoicing with the Lord. Mrs. Lacy was retired Civil Service from Ft. Bragg after 26 years of service., she was a graduate of Stedman High School, and a Member of Walstone Baptist Church for the past 46 years. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Lacy, Sr. parents, Edward K. and Mamie Bullard Smith and five siblings. Surviving: Daughter Janice Voter and husband John of Fayetteville; Son William Lacy, Jr. and wife Renee of Fayetteville Grandchildren, Ashley Voter, Johnny Voter, William Lacy III, and Justin Lacy Sister- Bonnie Phillips of Dothan, Alabama The family will receive friends Saturday, August 11, 2012, one hour prior to the service.
