Mrs. Ethelyn Holloway Seay, 94, of Fayetteville, passed away Thursday morning, October 17, 2013, surrounded by her family. Ethelyn was a very active member of Grace Baptist Church for many years, from its earliest beginnings until she could no longer attend. She worked for Sears Roebuck for 22 years, but considered herself a wife and mother before all else. She also loved travelling the country with her husband, Charles, by her side. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, October 19, 2013, at 2 pm in Jernigan Warren Chapel with Rev. John Blackman presiding. The burial will follow at Cumberland Memorial Gardens. Ethelyn was preceded in death by her husband, Charles D. Seay. She is survived by her daughter, Jeanette Parker of Fayetteville; son, Franklin Seay of Fayetteville; brother, Robert Holloway of Tennessee; sister, Zona Fuchs of Montana; 4 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends prior to the service on Saturday from 12:30 pm to 2 pm at the funeral home.
