Eugene Richard Burger, 71, of Fayetteville, formerly of Lorida, Florida passed away on Friday, October 13, 2023, at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center.

Eugene was born on August 31, 1952, in Plymouth, Indiana to the late Eugene Elbert Burger and Betty Jane Muffley Burger.

He was a U.S. Navy Vietnam Veteran.  In addition to serving his country Eugene's hobby was collecting junk and he enjoyed riding motorcycles.

He lived 10 years in the Philippines where he loved spending time.

A family service will be held in Indiana at a later date.

Eugene was survived by his sons, Dustin Hardin, Jason Kennedy (Deanna North); brothers, Rodney Burger (Sandy), Dennis Burger (Judy); and granddaughter, Emmalynn Kennedy.
